MEET Captain Tyler
Master Captain Tyler Ryan is a maritime professional passionate about all things water. Growing up boating and diving on some of the most amazing waterways in New England, Captain Tyler has gone on to experience the water in several countries, and much of the United States.
In 2002, Captain Ty moved from the cold waters of the north to the
warm water and hospitality of Charleston, South Carolina.
While in the Holy City, Captain Ty spent time on Charleston Harbor,
Cooper River, and the ICW. Since moving to Lexington in 2005,
he has spent every minute possible on, under and in Lake Murray.
Over the last two decades, Captain Tyler founded and operated a
paddle sports company, serves as topside commander for the Newberry
County Water Rescue Team, and Licensed United States Coast Guard Charter
Boat Captain, and been an adjunct instructor for the University of South Carolina's sailing and boating courses, and is also the First Officer and Entertainment Director for The Spirit of Lake Murray.
In addition to his USCG Master Captain license, Captain Tyler is a nationally certified power boat/boat rescue instructor, certified through US Powerboating, and recognized by the USCG and NASBLA, instructing with Safer Boater, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization aimed to create safe boating skills and education.
Captain Tyler is the Senior Captain for Lake Murray Boat Tours, serves as Operations Director for the Safer Boater non-profit, and is the first officer/entertainment director for The Spirit of Lake Murray, the Lake's only inspected vessel.

THE Manifest Destiny II
The Manifest Destiny II is the ultimate private tour vessel. She is an amazing Berkshire Tri-toon ready for an amazing experience on the Lake. She is 25' feet long and boasts an amazing sound system, lots of space for all your gear, and even a full built-in bar with stools to make your adventure on the water super fun! Powered by a 200-hp outboard motor, the MD II will provide hours of memories!

THE Manifest Destiny
The Queen of our fleet is The Manifest Destiny. You might remember from social studies class that Manifest Destiny was the colonial view as America looked to the west that it was all ours for the taking. When you sit in the middle of Lake Murray and look in any direction across the water, it is hard not to feel the same; all that you see is yours - if nothing else, at least temporarily!
The Manifest Destiny is a beautiful 30-foot Tahoe Grand Elite Tritoon. She is outfitted with a powerful and quiet inboard engine, providing guests with a wonderful onboard experience.
